Always love stopping at Cains for Happy Hour. Stopped in a month ago and food was great as we had a few appetizers and wings. We did have an issue as on their website it said wing special started at 5 but in Cains it said 7. The waitress said yes it is incorrect and people complain about it all the time but then just let it drop. So when we went last night it was nice to see they moved it to 5 to match the website.

Wings were great as always and stuffed banana peppers always hit the spot a d are very filling for the price. My wife got the fried zucchini and we couldn't believe the portion size. 2 hours sitting and drinking with friends for 35 bucks. Great deal and a great time.

I've been going to Cains for a very long time. This place used to be filled with good food, good people, and good music!  Went almost every Wednesday with friends for wing night. Everyone loved it (especially me because they had a fab volcano sauce super hot!!)
Since the ownership changed it is terrible! The servers come around with grumpy attitudes. You kinda want to leave because they suck so bad. The salad dressing (used to be homemade and awesome) now straight outta some bottle that they over freeze because it comes out solid. Gross. Then the wings seem cooked well and not much changed there, but the sauces are horrible. Disgusting watered down, no flavor....how does this happen.
Note to new owner...if you're going to buy something great, then make it suck, change the name of the place. Your attempt of following in the previous owners footsteps is far lacking.
The only decent thing you held onto were a few bartenders who are always nice.

I would give less than 1 star if I could. Definitely the worst restaurant I've been to in Pittsburgh. It's hard to mess up a simple breakfast but they did it. Wait took over an hour and a half.

    Don't bother coming here.

Went to Cain's for an after party with work friends and it was during the Penn State Pitt Game which they had on a few TVs which we liked! Bunch of tvs for sporting events which was nice. The drink list and lost had a lot of nice surprising items and a good selection. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip and it came with tortilla chips and pita bread-a bunch of us shared it and thought it was really good! I didn't have time to try anything else on the menu so I will be back in the future to try some more items! One bartender was very friendly and polite and another seemed overwhelmed and a bit annoyed with the amount of people in the bar that afternoon. Overall it is a decent place to stop at if you want to watch a sporting event and try some tasty food and drinks with friends.

They have a brand new appetizer they're doing, Pub Eggrolls! They are fantastic! Ham, Swiss and a pickle in an egg roll with whole grain mustard goes together wonderful! Great job Cain's!
